Someone (I won't say who) said I don't write enough articles to encourage the reading of them.  At least I know I haven't worn you out with my writing and that someone must have read enough, and been pleased enough with what they read, to have come back looking for more.  Who knows? Anyway... I'm writing again in hopes that anyone will read and take heed, or get a laugh, at what I have to say today.

Did anyone else get the new Land's End catalog,  "USPS collection"?  I love the merchandise, and the prices, and would order a bunch of it if only I could.  What crazy person made this deal?  Who has any money in their budget for ordering this stuff through eBUY2?  It's the only way you can get it!  Does it make you wonder where we may have gone wrong?  You know someone out there get to use this; someone who is trusted enough to make executive decisions about money and budgets; someone like maybe a Postmaster somewhere; a level oh-my-god postmaster over some big city operation.  If only...

But what about you and me?  We couldn't order this stuff not matter what.  We're simply puppet-postmasters.  Not really in charge of anything expect maybe our bladders and diet.  We dance to the micro-managed dance tune, every day marking off our checklists of the endless other checklists of things we have to do to certify that we have done the things we have to do everyday.  Wait a minute.  Is this cyclic?  Is there redundancy in what I just wrote?  Maybe I could qualify for one of those level oh-my-god positions where I could be the puppet master instead of just another puppet.
